Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
Our mission is to glorify God by creating an environment that encourages, inspires, and affirms children, their families and the community.
Our ranch lifestyle provides a place of refuge for children and animals, allowing families to be restored through the redeeming love of Jesus Christ.
One with the honored role of holding the gate for the Shepherd. “The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”
John 10:3
At 51:10 we believe serving isn’t something we do, but rather something we are; it is a part of our DNA. We trust that our role is to facilitate an environment to allow Jesus to have access to hearts, all hearts, ours included. In that environment we simply hold the gate and allow the Shepherd to do His work. We want to foster a mindset that all we do is for Him.
We know that often someone given the title of ‘volunteer’ can feel a lack of responsibility or ownership in their role. Instead, we invite our ‘gatekeepers’ to feel the value and title that their Father gives them. We ask for investment and vulnerability and do not allow complacency or disengagement within our team. We are family! We are holding the gate for Jesus to what He has for us, one another and everyone who steps foot on the ranch.
It is our great desire to honor and glorify God in all we do. In that we want to be prayerful in all we do at 51:10. We would be grateful if you would join us in lifting up the needs and hopes of the ranch. Our daily prayer is all who enter 51:10 would encounter the loving presence of God. Our hope is all children and their families would be impacted for the good. We also pray those who serve would have a great heart for the Lord, children, and families. And pray their hearts will be equally impacted. We pray the community will embrace the ranch, and will feel the reverberating impact of those lives transformed at the ranch. Additionally, we pray for the Lord’s provision. We understand all of this is made possible because of Him. It is our pray we are faithful stewards of His provision, and 51:10 Youth Ranch will be all for the glory of God.
If you have a heart for serving God and also enjoy working with children and animals, we would encourage you to fill out a Volunteer Application. We utilize volunteers to support the staff through: Mentorship with children, grounds and animal maintenance, community events preparation, set up and clean up prayer, and worship.
If you have a special skill or passion you would like to make us aware of, please indicate this on your application. Once the application is received, a background check will be processed as well as an interview scheduled.
We are grateful for your willingness to give to 51:10 Youth Ranch. Your giving allows us to serve kids and families in the community at no charge. Without your generosity many would not have the ability to experience this valuable and life altering mentorship program. All monetary gifts, unless designated otherwise by the giver, are allocated to our general operating fund.
